기획자와 큐레이터, 회화, 조각, 설치, 영상 등 여러 매체의 예술가로 구성되어 있으며, 부산을 주 무대로 국내 뿐 아니라 아시아 미술시장을 중심으로 활동하며 새로운 프로젝트를 시도해 왔다. 국내외 다양한 프로젝트를 통해 새로운 방식의 접근으로 대중과 소통하고 지역적 한계를 벗어나 전 세계 속 ‘리프로젝트’ 라는 네트워크를 구축시켜 새로운 문화를 창조하고자 한다.
Re-project is an ‘Artist Project Team of artists based in Busan.
It consists of planners, curators, and artists of various mediums such as painting, sculpture, installation, and video, and has been trying out new projects by focusing on the Korean and Asian art markets with Busan as the main stage. 부산 부산진구 범천동에 있는 신암은 1970-80년대 부산의 주력 산업인 신발 제조, 의류 부자재 유통 등 생산공장 단지가 밀집돼 지역 경제를 부흥시킨 곳이다. 산업 구조의 변화로 쇠퇴하여 재개발이 진행 중인 마을에서 회화, 조각, 설치, 영상 등 다양한 매체의 작품을 통해 사라져가는 마을의 역사를 기록한다.
